What you need to understand about the simulated nature of our Services and the risks involved.

Please read this disclosure in full. It explains the simulated nature of IndieFunded and the risks associated with trading activities.
1. Simulated environment
All activity on IndieFunded takes place in a simulated trading environment. No real capital is deposited into any trading account you use, no orders are sent to any exchange, and no securities are bought or sold on your behalf. Account balances, profits and losses shown are simulated and exist for the purpose of evaluating trading skill.
2. No investment advice
Nothing on this website or within the Services is financial, investment, tax or legal advice, nor a recommendation, solicitation or inducement to buy, sell or hold any security or to adopt any trading strategy. You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions. If you require advice, consult a licensed professional.
3. IndieFunded is not a broker or adviser
IndieFunded is not a stockbroker, exchange, clearing member, depository participant, portfolio manager, research analyst or registered investment adviser, and is not registered as such with any securities regulator. The fee you pay is for access to an evaluation programme and simulated funded accounts, not for the deposit or management of trading capital.
4. Trading involves risk
Trading options and other derivatives is inherently risky and may not be suitable for everyone. Even in a simulated setting, the skills being evaluated relate to activities that, in live markets, can result in rapid and substantial financial loss. The value of options can move sharply and you can lose your entire position quickly.
5. No guarantee of results
Passing an evaluation, reaching a simulated funded account, or receiving a reward at any time is not a guarantee of future outcomes. Past performance — whether your own or that of others featured on the website — is not indicative of future results. Any figures, examples, testimonials or projections shown are illustrative only.
6. Fees paid are at risk
Account fees may be lost if you do not pass an evaluation, breach the trading rules, or otherwise fail to meet the conditions for a reward. You should only pay a fee you are comfortable not recovering, in line with our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
7. Your responsibility
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Services is legal in your jurisdiction and for any tax consequences of amounts you receive. By using the Services you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Risk Disclosure.
