What is IndieFunded?

IndieFunded is a trading education and skill evaluation programme for NSE index options, run entirely on a simulator. You pay a one-time programme fee for access to the simulator, a structured evaluation with enforced risk rules, performance analytics and our learning library. Traders who pass the evaluation can qualify for performance rewards. IndieFunded is the brand name of IndieFunded Private Limited.

Is any real money traded?

No. Every trade on IndieFunded is simulated using market data. No orders are sent to any exchange, and the balance you trade is virtual. Your programme fee pays for a training service; it is not a deposit, it is not traded, and you cannot lose more than the fee you paid.

What does the programme fee pay for?

Access to the IndieFunded Web simulator; a rule engine that tracks your targets and loss limits in real time; the IndieFunded Score and performance analytics after every session; a closed-trade journal; a certificate when you pass; the learning library; and support by email. Every order gets a GST tax invoice from IndieFunded Private Limited, issued under SAC 999294 (other education and training services).

Do your prices include GST?

Yes. Every price on this site includes 18% GST. The figure on the price table is the full amount charged; nothing is added at checkout. Your invoice shows the taxable value and the tax separately.

What is the ₹999 Starter?

A full 2-Step evaluation on a ₹50,000 virtual balance for a one-time ₹999: an 8% Phase 1 target, a 5% Phase 2 target, a 5% maximum daily loss and a 10% maximum overall loss. Nothing about the rules, platform or analytics is cut down. It is a launch price and may be withdrawn for new purchases at any time; accounts already bought are not affected. Discount codes do not apply to it.

What is the difference between Instant, 1-Step and 2-Step?

They differ in how you reach the reward stage. 2-Step has two evaluation phases (8% then 5% targets) with the widest loss limits: 5% daily and 10% overall. 1-Step has one phase: a 10% target within a 3% daily and 6% overall loss limit. Instant has no evaluation phase: it starts in the reward stage under a 3% daily loss limit, a 5% trailing loss limit, and extra consistency checks on every reward request.

Which virtual balance sizes are available?

Balances range from ₹50K to ₹10L. Instant: ₹50K, ₹1L, ₹2L, ₹3L, ₹5L, ₹10L. 1-Step: ₹1L, ₹2L, ₹3L, ₹5L, ₹10L. 2-Step: ₹50K, ₹1L, ₹2L, ₹3L, ₹5L, ₹10L.

What are performance rewards, and who qualifies?

When you pass an evaluation (or buy an Instant account) you enter the reward stage and choose a reward cycle: bi-weekly (a window every 14 calendar days, 80% reward share) or monthly (a window every 30 calendar days, 90% reward share). At the end of a cycle you may request a reward calculated as that share of the simulated profit, provided you traded on at least 3 days in the cycle, followed every rule, and completed identity verification (KYC). Instant accounts carry extra consistency conditions. Rewards are paid by IndieFunded Private Limited from its own funds to your verified bank account or UPI ID after review. They are a performance incentive, not a return on your fee, and they are never guaranteed. Many participants do not pass an evaluation. Rewards may be taxable in your hands.

Can I get a refund?

Yes, within limits we publish up front. You get a full refund if you ask within 7 days of purchase and no trade has been placed on the account. Once a trade is placed, the fee has been used and is not refundable, except that we refund it with your third performance reward on that programme (see below). Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 5–7 business days. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy for details.

Do I get my programme fee back?

Yes, once you are earning. For any programme bought on or after 14 September 2026, when the third performance reward earned on that purchase is paid, we refund the fee you paid for it: the amount actually charged, including GST, after any discount code or points. It is paid to the same verified UPI ID or bank account as your rewards, and it applies to every programme, including the ₹999 Starter. Rewards themselves are discretionary and not guaranteed, so neither is reaching the third one.

How and when do I get access after paying?

IndieFunded is a digital service; nothing is shipped. Your account appears in the trader dashboard and your login details are emailed to you as soon as the payment is confirmed, usually within minutes and always within 24 hours. If you have not received access within 24 hours, write to us and we will fix it or refund you in full.

Is IndieFunded a broker, or registered with SEBI?

No. IndieFunded is not a stockbroker, investment adviser, research analyst or portfolio manager, and is not registered with SEBI. We do not handle investments, do not place trades in the real market, and do not give buy or sell recommendations. Our guides teach concepts such as risk management; they are not advice about any security.

What is EOD trailing drawdown on Instant?

Instant has a 5% trailing loss limit, and you choose how it trails at checkout. Intraday trailing follows the highest equity your account reaches at any moment. End-of-day (EOD) trailing follows only your highest closing equity, so an intraday high you give back before the close never raises the floor. Both lock at your starting balance once you are 5% up, and the floor is checked live during the day either way. EOD trailing has a higher programme fee.

What can I trade on the simulator?

Buying NSE index options, such as NIFTY and BANK NIFTY contracts, in MIS (intraday) and NRML (positional) products. Option selling and non-index instruments are not available.

Are there trading charges on the simulator?

Every simulated order pays the charges an Indian discount broker applies to NSE index options: brokerage of ₹20 per executed order plus statutory charges (STT, exchange and SEBI fees, stamp duty and GST). They are deducted from your virtual balance when the order fills, so your P&L, loss limits, profit target and performance rewards are all measured after charges, as they would be on a real broker statement. They are simulated: nothing is billed to you. The full schedule is on the Trading Rules page.

What is Lightning mode?

Lightning mode is a single-screen layout of the IndieFunded Web simulator. It shows up to four charts at once (any mix of NIFTY, BANKNIFTY, FINNIFTY and option contracts), the strikes with your lot and product presets beside them, and your positions and orders underneath. You can turn on one-click order entry, where a tap places a simulated market order, or leave it off to review each order in the ticket. It is included with every evaluation, and on a phone it shows one or two charts. Like everything on the simulator, no order reaches the exchange.

Is there a time limit, and what if I stop trading for a while?

1-Step and 2-Step evaluations have no time limit. Every account does need at least one trade every 30 calendar days to stay active; we email you at 21 and 27 days, and any single trade resets the count. An inactive account is closed, which is not a rule breach. An account holding an open position is never closed for inactivity.

Can I hold more than one account?

Yes. You can hold several accounts across programmes and sizes, subject to a combined allocation limit per trader. Each account is assessed on its own rules. Using one account to hedge another, or trading in coordination with other people, is not allowed.

Who can join?

Anyone aged 18 or over who can enter into a contract under Indian law. You will need to complete identity verification before any reward is paid. No prior trading experience is required for the 2-Step programme, but we strongly recommend reading the learning library and taking the platform tour first.

Is IndieFunded a registered company?

Yes. IndieFunded is the brand name of IndieFunded Private Limited, incorporated in India under the Companies Act, 2013 on 25 August 2026 (CIN U85499RJ2026PTC117436) and registered under GST (GSTIN 08AAJCI0982R1ZR).
